LACTATION CONSULTING

"Breastfeeding is natural, but its not natural like breathing.  Something we can do without effort or thought.  Rather it is natural like walking, a skill we need to learn, and something that we need help, support, and guidance with in the early days."

 - Megan Felling

Lactation is a natural extension of pregnancy and birth; and it is the phase of the perinatal year that is often overlooked.  Labor and birth are a momentous occasion, but in the grand scheme of things, it lasts a day or two for most people; whereas lactation can go on for two years or more!

Together, we can create a personalized care plan to help you reach your breast/chest feeding goals.

Certified lactation consultants are allied healthcare providers who specialize in the support, education, and guidance of lactating families. I have experience supporting families with a variety of challenges including multiples, pain with latch, over supply, under supply, and plugged ducts to name a few.
